Sorting and Drying

 

Upon receival, samples are sorted, then reconciled against the accompanying paperwork. If there are any discrepancies between the paperwork and the samples actually recieved, the client will be notified immediately. 

The samples will then be dried in either a natural gas fired oven or an electrically operated Convection Oven.

Preferably, the samples will remain in the client's own packaging during the entire sorting and drying process. If the clients have submitted their samples in plastic sample bags, or the samples are excessively large, the samples will be transferred to a disposable aluminium tray prior to drying.

It is extremely important to notify us prior to sample shipment, if heat sensitive analyses are required. (eg. Mercury or moisture determination)
